With the fate of her first love resting solely in her hands Jenna must go back to the town she despises and risk everything for a man who is not at all pleased to find her on his doorstep talking about a murderer on the loose and asking him to trust her.

Nathaniel McGregor has put many years and many women between him and the memory of the only woman he ever loved. Now she's back and doing what she does best. Turning his life upside down and warning him of an obsessed pyromaniac hell bent on killing him. Can he trust her? Does he even have a choice? The clock is ticking, both their lives are on the line and they must work together to stop a determined killer or die.

Interview

1 - What inspired you to write Flames?

I would have to say my family history and growing up in a small town. I come from a very long line of sheriffs and police officers and grew up talking about criminals a lot. What drives them, how to catch them, that sort of thing. So when I decided I wanted to write a novel I knew that there was going to have to be some kind of criminal activity involved.

2 -There's a paranormal component to your story. How did you come up with it?

I’ve always been fascinated with psychics and how they’re sometimes used in the police force. And to be completely honest from an author’s standpoint psychics are incredibly fun to write about. Their gifts are almost limitless and you can put your own creative spin on it.

3 -What would you say is the hardest part of being a writer?

That’s a hard question because I love everything about being a writer. Always have, it’s a rush seeing my work in print and having people read it. But if I have to pick I would say the hardest part of being a writer is right before my book becomes available for people to read because I’m always a little anxious that people may not enjoy it.

4 -Is Shana getting her own story in the future?

YES! And I am so excited about her book. To say I love her storyline and her love interest is an understatement. She was one of my favorite characters to write in Flames and once I finished writing it I didn’t want to let her character go.

5- Is there something else you would like your readers to know?

Just that I am incredibly thankful to them! It is a pleasure to be able to share my work and nothing makes me happier than knowing that they’ve enjoyed the story as much as I do. Honestly I can’t thank my readers enough and can’t wait to get the next books out to them.
